During your craps-gambling life, you will likely have more losing times than successful times. Learn to live with it. You must learn to wager in reality, not dream land. Craps was developed for the gambler to lose.
Say, after a few hours, the pair of dice have eaten away at your chip stack leaving only twenty dollars. You haven’t noticed a hot toss in forever. Although not winning is just as much a part of the game as succeeding, you cannot help but feel like crap. You think about why you ever came to Las Vegas in the first place. You were a mountain for two hours, but it didn’t work. You are wanting to win so much that you give up discipline of your common sense. You must in no way give up, don’t ever bow out, never think, "This sucks, I’m going to place the remainder on the Hard 4 and, if I lose, then I’ll leave. However if I profit, I will be right back where I started." That is the dumbest action you can attempt at the closing of a losing night.
If you have to give your money away, for heaven’s sake send it to your favored charity. Don’t give it to the casino. Occasionally, you’ll win a single one of those idiotic bets, but do not think you will win enough over time to conquer your squanderings.
