Learn to Gamble on Craps – Tricks and Tactics: Don’t Toss in the Towel

Through out your craps-betting life, you will certainly have more non-winning sessions than successful times. Accept it. You have to discover how to gamble in the real world, not in dream land. Craps is designed for the participant to not win.

Let us say, after 2 hours, the ivories have brought your chip stack down to twenty dollars. You haven’t seen a hot toss in forever. Even though losing is as much a part of the game as winning, you can not help but feel bad. You begin to think about why you even thought about coming to sin city in the first place. You were solid for 2 hours, but it didn’t work. You want to succeed so badly that you fritter away control of your clear-headedness. You are down to your very last $20 for the day and you have no oomph left. Stop!

You can never give up, never bow out, never think, "This blows, I am going to lay the remainder on the Hard 4 and, if I lose, then I’ll head out. But if I succeed, I will be back where I started." That’s the dumbest action you can perform at the end of a non-winning game.

If you can not acknowledge not winning, you have no reason to be placing bets. If you can not bear losing a particular game, then bow out of that session and take your money. Do not toss your money away on a horrible bet wishing to hit it big and win your $$$$ back in one bet.

If it is a horrible game and you lose a lot swiftly, then accept defeat and take your money with the ten dollars, fifteen dollars, or $20 that you have remaining. Take that leftover twenty dollars, have a beer in the lounge, enjoy the live music. Put the money in a 5 cent video poker machine and maybe hit a one thousand-coin jackpot for fifty dollars. Place it in your pocket, locate your lady, and spend some time with them. Don’t relent. Do something other than piss your cash away on a non-winning proposition bet. Don’t toss in the towel.
